Workers restoring Phra Pathom Chedi
Phra Pathom Chedi is a huge chedi that is located in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The structure is being constantly maintained and I took this photograph of workmen on the site to show some perspective on the size of the chedi.
The structure was covered in metal scaffold, which is slightly unusual for Thailand since traditionally bamboo is used for this purpose. You will however notice that the workers are not using platforms or other safety features as they go about their tasks.
