I have managed to photograph the Spectacled Langur on several occasions at Khao Sam Roi Yot national park here in Thailand. I had also heard that there was a troop of these monkey’s nearer to my home at Ao Manao, on the Royal Thai Air Force base.
Well I went to check out the WWII museum there a couple of weeks ago when showing a friend around so we took a little time out to look for the Spectacled Langurs.
As luck would have it the troop of Langurs was at the base of a limestone crag and were quite happy to let us photograph them. I was particularly pleased because I managed to see my first juvenile which are bright orange when born.
Equipment: Canon EOS 1000D 55mm
