Siam Niramit Village

Part of the Siam Niramit cultural site Bangkok

Water Village

I recently visited Siam Niramit, a Thai cultural site in Bangkok. The main attraction at Siam Niramit is cultural show in the huge theatre that takes you on a journey through Thai history and fantasy. You can read about my visit to Siam Niramit and view some more photographs here.

However aside from the show there are also several cultural exhibits outside the theatre one of these is an area on the 10 acre site where Thai life is depicted through a village that has been created to represent four different regions of  Thailand, their own separate cultures, traditions and crafts.

The “village” is set around water and today’s photograph was taken as the sun was setting and artificial lighting was just being switched on.

Equipment: Canon EOS 1000D 55mm
