Thailand Railways has an extensive network throughout the country offering both passenger and freight services. There is a line near my home that connects Bangkok with the South including Malaysia.
This photograph is of a north bound freight train that is hauling cement cars which I spotted when I was out bird watching near some shrimp ponds.
My favourite train is the Eastern and Oriental Express which passes down this line about once a month.
