A Bird in The Hand is Worth Two in the Bush-Photographic Idiom

two scaly-breasted Munia illustrate the proverb a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush is actually an old English proverb which means that it is better to have something rather than the possibility of having something better(later).

So although this is not a great photograph of the Scaly-breasted Munia its better than not having one at all. In this case I would also seem to have two such birds in the bush! If you really want to see a better photograph of this small Thai bird just click on the link above since I have one nesting in my garden.
