Royal Palace Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park Photo/Image

A view of the Royal Palace Phra Nakhon Khiri taken from the observatory at the same location

The Royal Palace, Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park, is located on a hill called Khao Wang just outside the town of Phetchaburi(Phetburi) Thailand. It was built by King Rama IV(King Mongkut) as a summer residence. It is now unoccupied and forms part of the historical park. There is a small museum located just below the palace and an observatory(where this photograph was taken from).

Equipment: Canon EOS 1000D 55mm Lens

You have a gorgeous view of the Royal Palace. The domes never look like a design by the Siamese.
