Approaching the Royal Palace Phra Nakhon Khiri on foot I found this photogenic scene

My final photograph(for the moment) from Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical park is taken as I was approaching the Royal Palace. I found this very photogenic scene. The actual footpath on the shot leads from the observatory building through the distant gates into the courtyard in front of the Royal Palace.

I hope my picture does it credit as the lighting seemed perfect to bring out the contrasting features!
