I photographed this elderly Buddhist Monk when I visited a local temple at Wa Thon, in Thailand. My Thai partner had gone to see him because he is known locally for his ability to tell fortunes. Its not unusual in Thailand to find monks as fortune tellers.
The monk is sitting in the doorway of his Kuti(house) at the temple and you can see in the background lots of gifts people have given him to make merit.
