Buddha Images from the Three Era’s-Siam Cultural Park

Buddha image form the three era's Siam Cultural Park
Yesterday we took a brief glimpse into the Hall of Fame at the Siam Culture Park in Ratchaburi Province, Thailand. After you leave the Hall of Fame you find yourself on a terrace of Buddha images depicting three different historical periods-era’s.

Each of the images, set in similar surroundings, appear identical at first glance, being made from bronze/brass with the same dimensions, however closer inspection reveals that facial features are different and represent the different styles favoured in the Ayutthaya, Sukhothai and Chiang Saen periods of Thai history.

To see what I mean compare the photograph in today’s post with the one I included earlier from the Siam Cultural Park on a post about Ghosts and Spirits in Thailand. You should see a difference in the facial expression and headdress.

I think I would absolutely love Thailand but I would never get anywhere. I'd be absolutely captivated by all of the buddhas and other statues.

I definitely think there is a spirit in that other photo!

    I don't believe in ghosts …….BUT!
