How do you fancy some Cobra or scorpion whiskey? Well throughout Asia you will find different reptiles and even sea creatures fermenting away in your whiskey bottle. Quite why this is a common feature I am not 100% sure but I fancy it has to do with male potency!
Of course it also begs the question of whether the creatures are dead or alive when added to the alcohol. Whatever their state I am fairly sure its not good for conservation.
The bottles of whiskey in today’s photograph contain baby cobras on the left and scorpions on the right. They were photographed on a small island in the Mekong River that is Laotian territory.
