Novice Monk Thailand

Novice Thai Buddhist Monk
This young novice Thai Buddhist monk seems to be deep in thought at a temple in Thailand. In this young man’s case he was only spending two days in the monks robes because he was attending a Buddhist funeral.

On such occasions it is common for the young men of the family to take on the robes of the Buddhist monks and shave there heads as a mark of respect and to make merit.

The photograph is taken at Wat Samakee Sattharam(วัดสามัคคีศรัทธาราม) in Samut Sakhon, Thailand.

Equipment: Canon EOS 1000D 55mm Lens

You have a good theme shooting at the monk. The young face looks very innocent.
