Lucky Money Pots

Pots in Buddhist temple where you place coins for good luck

Thai people are quite superstitious and will go to great lengths to create good luck. In this shot you can see lots of bowls that contain coins.

By placing a small Thai coin in each pot it is believed the person will receive good luck. Incidentally the coins 50 Satang (half a Baht) are supplied and reused so you don’t have to provide your own cash!

The photograph is taken at Wat Kuiburi.

It's actually an interesting idea. Kind of like throwing a coin in a wishing well. I wonder if this would work for me.
