Red-Wattled Lapwing Thailand

Red-Wattled Lapwing Thailand
A common bird of Thailand is the Red-Wattled Lapwing(Vanellus indicus) it has a distinctive alarm call which sounds a bit like “titty tu it.” Once startled the bird takes to the air swooping down towards an intruder spooking any other birds that are in the vicinity. Not your best friend when trying to watch smaller species.
