Buddhist Monk-Helping Hand.

I spotted this pair of helpers at a Thai Buddhist temple helping an elderly monk down some steps. The monk had just been praying at a shrine that is up a flight of stairs. Near Hua Hin Thailand.

I have lived in Thailand since I retired from teaching in the UK in January 2008. Home is a bungalow about 2km from the Gulf of Thailand and 8km south of the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan. I am one of the few foreigners that live in this area. I am a keen birder and photographer although I have a lot to learn about both subjects! I also enjoy blogging and visiting temples and other cultural and wildlife sites in the country. I am trying to learn the Thai language, but I think you could say that it remains a work in progress.
