Temple Lily-Lotus

This temple lily or lotus flower grows wild in Thailand. It loves water and swampy ground. The flower is often used as part of an offering at a Buddhist Temple.

Once the flower is open the petals drop quickly living a green centre that if left to dry is ideal for flower arranging.
