Shadows in the Mist Northern Thailand

Nearing the summit of a climb near Chiang Mai Thailand. This shot was taken on a Thai Hill Tribe Trek in Northern Thailand. The effect is caused by the humid conditions as we exited the rain forest heading for a Akha hill tribe village were we were to spend the night.

I was still quite warm and humid even though we were at 1000m.

I bet the mosquitoes love it there.

Don’t think I’d have enjoyed that trek. What’s that on the right (looks like a small plane)?

Not many mosquitoes but plenty of leeches! The structure in the background is just a shelter were we ate lunch.

Seeing those shadowy shapes might be startling. All sorts of things could be imagined. A man with a bag or backpack, or a swordsman with a shield. I’m sure it’s a little different than that if you’re there, but the picture brings up many things.
