Feeding Frenzy Huay Yang Waterfall Thailand.

feeding frenzy of fish at Huay Yang national park Thailand

Yesterday I visited Huay Yang Waterfall National Park, Thailand. My objective was some wildlife photography specifically of the butterflies and fish that are to be found there. Today and for the next week I will feature a photograph each day that I took on my visit.

There are several pools beneath each tier of the Huay Yang falls and each is packed with fresh water fish that look like a carp or perch. The fish are voracious feeders and I took along some pelleted fish food to try and help get a few shots of their feeding frenzy when they sense a meal is around. Hope you like the results.

A hive of activity going on there, if that’s the right term?

I like that! We have a few places here like that where the water is stocked full of catfish.
