Wash Day at the Wat.

Most villages in Thailand have their own wat (temple), where I live in Nong Hin, Thailand we have quite a large one. The other day I took a walk around the back of the building and found the place where the monks do there washing!

Hi Mike. Your post just reminded me that I have a ton of dishes to wash…

I’m dropping in to say that I love your new blog design… but I can’t leave any comments (some would say that’s a blessing as I’m a bit long-winded ;-) .

I tried with Safari, FF and Opera using a Mac.

So while I won’t be commenting I will be lurking.

Cat, thanks for the heads up, I have reverted to pop up window for comments, which works in Firefox, so you should be able to leave a chapter or two now!

Unless you are too busy washing.

Love that photo–looks just like our gardens on Mondays! (much to our neighbor’s chagrin, must add!)

Mike, Walked around behind our temple the other day taking pictures , didn’t find any wash , but did find a monk , laying in a chase lounge chair , drinking a M – 150 and with a M-3 player playing his favorites tunes. ha ha true story , what a life.
    Neat Temple life pictures .

TPT welcome, oh for Mondays and wash day when I was a kid! At least the clothes dry quickly here!

Malcolm- the head monk at the temple here has a Mercedes!!

Catherine, still working on a true fix for comments on MTF, thanks for dropping by and feedback.
